Aptos

Aptos is an unincorporated part of Santa Cruz County and is set between the citie of Santa Cruz and Watsonville off of Highway 1.  Within Aptos there are a number of communities; Rio Del Mar, Seascape, Seacliff, La Selva Beach, Aptos Village, Aptos Hills, Larkin Valley and Day Valley.  The 2000 census numbers for all of the outlying areas of Aptos were at about 25,000 people, nearly 26% were families with children under the age of 18.

60 homes reported as sold in Aptos the first half of 2011 with  a low of $245,000 a high of $3,308,000, and an average of $734,946.  The style of homes vary as Aptos consists of homes in redwood forest, golf course , and beach settings.

Aptos Beaches consist of Seacliff Beach which is well known for the Cement Ship, New Brighton Beach, Beer Can Beach, La Selva Beach and Manresa.

Seascape Golf Course is a beautiful, challenging course and is open to the public at very reasonable rates.
